Hey y’all. As most of you may know. Our year long bass player Sean Summers had decided to move on from Slanted Jack. Our offspring from him will live on, but for now, we need to move on. Our very good friend Levi Patton has joined the Slanted Family. His technique and slap on da bass fits in super well with our sound, and even brings new light to the band! We are really excited and are working to get Levi up to speed with our sound; which is going very well since he is super stoked on music! We plan to keep up the gigs but also spend a good amount of time working on our first studio full length album. Thanks so much for supporting us and we hope to see your faces soon! Rock on.
Hey y’all. Summer has been a great time for us. We got to work and play a bunch of shows, alongside having personal travel and vacation time to our favorite spots. August has been pretty quiet for us as a full band, but we will be picking up momentum come September. The fall is looking pretty bright; Playing the Fox Theater again with our good buddies Na’an Stop, rocking down the house again at Conor O’niell’s, and headlining at the Lazy Dog with our good buddies The Lantern Band as support; these are just to mention a few. We are working to move our way up in the music world, so thank all of you for helping us make a larger step! Stay tuned for some new music, merch, and dancing.
We are getting excited that our name is getting more and more out there in Boulder! Thanks Ashley Dean for putting this Q and A of ours into the paper; although first time phone Q and A may not be my (jeff’s) strong point, the exposure is awesome! We are looking forward to our upcoming May shows (Conor O’Neill’s – 5.23.14 | The Sink – 5.24.13) and are determined to press on for bigger shows such as more shows at the Fox theater and first time show at the Boulder Theater! Thanks so much for supporting us, and we hope you enjoy our new music and new material we have been trying out on y’all lately. Stay tuned, and we will see you soon.
